The Challenge
A site with three different audiences, one first impression
A charity website carries more weight than most — it has to read as credible enough for a donor deciding whether to give, warm enough for a volunteer deciding whether to get involved, and clear enough for anyone who actually needs the Foundation’s support to find their way through it.
Getting the tone right mattered as much as getting the structure right. Too corporate, and it feels cold. Too informal, and it undercuts trust with donors. The brief was specific: vitality and a modern feel, without sacrificing professionalism or ease of use.

The Approach
Modern and accessible, without losing polish
We built the site around clear navigation and a genuinely accessible layout — nothing buried, nothing that assumes a visitor already knows their way around. Visual design leaned modern and considered rather than the slightly dated, template-driven look common on a lot of not-for-profit sites.
The result had to work for a broad audience with very different needs from each other, on a single site, without feeling like it was built for none of them in particular.
- Clear, accessible navigation for a broad, mixed audience
- Modern visual identity, built to feel current rather than templated
- Structure built around ease of use over decoration
A glimpse of the finished site
Built to read as professional to a first-time donor and approachable to everyone else.
